The mission of The Forbidden Forest School is to blend traditional forest education with enchanting experiences, igniting children’s imaginations and fostering a deep connection with nature. Come and explore fairy houses, and mystical realms and science while developing essential bushcraft skills and environmental knowledge.

School Visits

Starting at £90 (+fuel)

Bringing 1/2 day workshops to your school including:

✦ Bushcraft and forest school sessions including whittling, fire building, den building + more (depending on your outside area)

✦ Growing & planting workshops

✦ The workshops can be tailored to align with a theme or unit of work you’re currently exploring

Botanic Alchemy Workshops

£120 (+ fuel)

(All comparable workshops are priced the same)

✦ 90 minute magical foraging workshop + time to mix individual potions.

✦ Each participant takes away their own magical potion in glass jar / necklace.

(Recommended age: 5+. Price for 20 children, an additional cost of £5 per child above this)

The Fairy behind the forest school…

Hi, I’m Jaz! AKA Spagyric Green Root the Botanic Alchemist. I’ve always dreamed of crafting a space where children can immerse themselves in the wonders of nature in a magic way. Raised with a deep appreciation for off-grid living, I am OBSESSED with being outdoors. I care deeply about sustainability and believe that helping children connect with nature is essential for making them care about it. That’s why I’m committed to showing children the magic of nature because I think it’s crucial for taking care of the environment. Plus, I love bringing a touch of magic from the theatre into our nature adventures, making learning fun and exciting for children

I come fully DBS checked and hold a certificate in Outdoor Paediatric First Aid. I have almost completed my Level 3 Forest School Leader Teacher Training and am based just outside of Callington so can easily travel within Devon & Cornwall.
